Hard as we might try, some processes just merit more time. This may be either because of their complexity as is the case with glass plate negative where probably the most complex photochemical process is tackled or because of the huge range of possibilities offered by a process such as gum bichromate printing. If we are to go into all the intricacies of single and multiple layer printing as well as making full colour prints and combination prints such as gum over cyanotype, even four days is hardly enough.
